TechGPT (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Site”), accessible at https://www.techgpt.co.in, respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users and content contributors to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.

If you believe that any content published on TechGPT infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice following the procedure outlined below.

1. Our Commitment to Original Content

TechGPT publishes tech reviews, tutorials, gadget and software news, and related articles that are researched and written by our team. All images used are either:

  • Originally created or screenshotted by our team,
  • Sourced from royalty-free/stock photo platforms (such as Pexels) under their applicable licenses, or
  • Used under fair use for editorial, commentary, or identification purposes (such as brand logos or product images referenced in reviews).

While we take reasonable care to ensure our content does not infringe on the rights of others, mistakes can occur. We take all reports of alleged infringement seriously.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that content on TechGPT infringes your copyrighted work, please submit a written DMCA notice to us containing the following information, as required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, including a description of the work and, if possible, a copy or link to the original.
  2. Identification of the material on TechGPT that you claim is infringing, along with enough information for us to locate it (e.g., the exact URL of the page/post).
  3. Your contact information, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices may not receive a response or may take longer to process.

Where to Send Your Notice

Please send your DMCA takedown notice via our Contact Us page, or email us directly using the contact information listed there, with the subject line: "DMCA Takedown Request – TechGPT."

3. Our Response Process

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  1. Review the claim to verify it meets the legal requirements outlined above.
  2. Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material as promptly as possible.
  3. Notify the content contributor (if applicable) about the removal.
  4. Document the takedown for our records.

We aim to process legitimate requests within 7–10 business days of receipt, though this may vary depending on the complexity of the claim.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you posted or that belongs to you was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to us containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location on the Site before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the U.S., an appropriate judicial forum), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days, unless the original complainant files a court action seeking a restraining order.

5. Repeat Infringers

TechGPT reserves the right, in appropriate circumstances, to disable or terminate the accounts of users or contributors who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright.

6. False Claims

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please ensure your claim is accurate and made in good faith before submitting it.

7. Disclaimer

This DMCA Policy is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. TechGPT reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
